I met Emily at a wonderful party called The Cowgirl Convention a few weeks ago at a local artist’s apartment. Emily makes gorgeous tiles, turtle tileone of which hangs in my kitchen, thanks to dear Cheril. She gave it to me in my Christmas Stocking this year, and every time I look at it, it makes me happy. Cheril’s also responsible for my even being at the party and has resuscitated my inner artist—bringing her back from a long, dark, uncreative sleep. Anyway, check out Emily’s gorgeous tiles, she makes a nifty little hole in the back of them so they’re easy to hang on a nail!
