You are right about the stress and it's effects. I think at times like this, denial is a wonderful tool to get me through the transition and into acceptance. Head in the sand, turning a blind eye, and so forth...some things we simply must do, and in order to carry on without a complete rebellion, without a total meltdown, we may pretend. Pretend whatever it is we want to pretend, knowing it is a tool to get us to the other side. So focus on the wonderful, the sublime; dwell in the love of life you obviously have.
