NaNoWriMo, NoBloPoMo and Thanksgiving, oh my
Yeah, so I’ve signed up for all of that. I have two days left to decide if I’m going to continue working on last year’s NaNoWriMo novel project, or start something new. I thought new a week ago, but then had one of those middle of the night brain farts that told me a few interesting details about my young protagonist and I’m thinking about following along to see what direction he leads us.
I posted my final ClubMom post yesterday, thinking it was October 31, and I also called my mother and sang Happy Birthday to her thinking it was October 31. Not so much with the Halloween quite yet, addled woman. Look at me, all preemptive and shit.
Kind of makes you wonder what I’m thinking signing up for two, huge writing commitments in the same month as Thanksgiving, and a week-long visit from my parents, when I’m so clearly having time management issues, doesn’t it?
Me too.

Here’s to writing just ’cause you feel like it!

Yeah, but maybe if you don’t allow your brain to think about it for even the teeniest second, and you just keep moving in the direction you want to go in…just maybe it will suddenly be december and you will have miraculously done everything you set out to!
I suggest lots of beer drinking this month.
Although, it sure has made me fat….

… sad to see you go from ClubMom but delighted to find you here. Your term ‘brain fart’ is the best phrase I’ve heard in a long time and I will be waiting in heightened anticipation for a moment when I can casually drop it into conversation (or a post) at the nearest possible opportunity!
Thank you for ‘brain farts’!

Ask the parents to tell you stories of myth and legend from their childhood? I found this wonderful inspiration.
found you via Irish Craftworker. What’s a brain-fart?
