Something’s gotta give
For weeks I’ve been at sixes and sevens, trying to find ways to eek out just a tiny bit of something for myself in the mad juggle of work schedules, school, daycare and all the things that have to happen to keep the house running.
Several responsibilities have kept me feeling pressured in a most unpleasant way (hello toilets! laundry! dinner! I’m looking at you! But most of those things just are, and stopping them will cause a major home life collapse. The one thing that I can give up is my ClubMom blog. As of November 1, I’ll post any parenting related writing back here, and once a month at DotMoms.
Now I’ll just need to parlay that hour of writing in the morning into cash money to replace the salary I’m surely about to lose.

"All through the long winter, I dream of my garden. On the first day of spring, I dig my fingers deep into the soft earth. I can feel its energy, and my spirits soar."

Wow. Really? I get it though…so much to do and never enough time to do it. Trite but so true.
Wow. Did I say that already?

I’ve been feeling the same way lately. I definitely think my laundry is mocking me behind my back. And I can never seem to get half the things sewn for the store that I need to have finished by last week. And my dog doesn’t get walked enough.
I think things do have to fall off the schedule or you’ll go mad. Just be sure not to kick yourself for it.

I feel the same way — never.enough.time.
Look forward to reading parenting stories, though!
