I hold a firm view that anyone using wallpaper in such circumstances should be stabbed in the forehead with a fork. In our house the previous owner wallpapered the ceiling, and then painted it. some of it’s even on plain sheetrock, not primed. I use lots of swear words.

…what made me smile was the first, presumably conscientious, use of “furking”… followed by the more emphatic, less genteel “Dumbfuckers” once you’d dwelt on the wallpaper situation a bit.

Oh! Oh! No! Not attempting to remove the wallpaper on the sheetrock! We got sucked into that in 2001 AND WE GOUGED HEAD-SIZED HOLES IN THE WALL! @#$%! We wound up paying an ex-jockey to repair it and paint over the remaining mess.

If I bring you an ex-jockey, will you make me some beef stew? Please. I beg you. My family begs you.

Jaune Flamme tomatoes from your own back yard must have felt like garden balm after this years garden difficulties. I have grown Jaune Flammes and those suckers are so amazing!!!!!!! (Can I add a few more exclamation points just for fun?)

I love reading about what you’re cooking. I don’t eat meat so the beef stew did not have me salivating, but every other damn last thing did! I’m so glad you got to spend time cooking and hanging out with friends after all the hectic activity you’ve been up to lately.
